17 May GSCWD culminates its 33rd Anniversary with a Back to Back Bamboo and Tree Growing Activities

In celebration of its 33rd year of public service, GSCWD continues to uphold environmental stewardship through its annual advocacy of planting bamboo and trees in its adopted watershed areas. A number of employees from the District planted 500 bamboo along the tributary of Makar River at Brgy. San Jose last August 14, 2020.

In addition, as one of the active partners of LGU in promoting the beautification of our City through its Green Gensan Project, another group of GSCWD employees also planted 259 Tabebuia Trees along the Diversion Road (from Prk. Udagre up to the intersection of Brgy. Mabuhay and Brgy. Conel) on August 21, 2020.

Its theme “Rising Beyond” is an assurance that General Santos City Water District will continue to rise beyond adversities and will persistently improve its service to the public, in pursuit of its commitment to provide safe, potable and reliable water service to the Generals.
