While Covid-19 pandemic defined the Global Health Crisis of our time which we experienced at the onset of 2020 until now, General Santos City Water District (GSCWD) continue to strive harder for greater and lasting contribution to our society as water service provider. Thus, the GSCWD Water Testing Laboratory (GSCWD – WTL) continue to excel, and once again, got the EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE RATING on its yearly “Proficiency Testing Scheme for Water Microbiological Testing Laboratory”.

“I commend our Laboratory Personnel for keeping up the highest level of performance.  I also assure all client/s that the water test result/s released have always been reliable considering that the GSCWD – WTL has been awarded with an Excellent Rating (8) eight times already since 2009”, GSCWD General Manager (GM) Arn B. Gellangarin quoted.

The ‘Proficiency Testing Scheme’ is conducted yearly by Department of Health- National Reference Laboratory (DOH-NRL) to all participating accredited laboratories across the country to ensure that all laboratories are reliable and proper laboratory methods are practiced.
