GSCWD has once again put smiles on the pupils’ faces as Kampanya Eskwela year 5 kicked off distributing school supplies with backpacks, hygiene kits and tumblers to the 3 public schools in the city last June 14, 24 and 25, 2019.

Beneficiaries are students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 in 3 different schools namely Shuttle Elementary School, Datal Salvan Elementary School, and Kawit Elementary School Extension. More than 500 children benefited from the said activity.

GSCWD aims to promote a child’s giving achievement through education. It supports the school’s main goal to reduce dropout by helping parents provide educational assistance for their children.

An orientation about personal hygiene and water sanitation was also conducted with a video presentation to show the importance of personal hygiene among school children. The importance of water sanitation was also discussed.

Aside from the aforementioned giveaways, female pupils were also given umbrellas and males were given caps.

On the fun part, children enjoyed their lunchtime together with Jollibee and Mr. Tankee of GSCWD.
