NOTICE OF VACANCY

This is to inform the public that on December 31, 2024, the terms of office of two members of the Board of General Santos City Water District (GSCWD) will expire.

The District is now accepting nominations for Board nominees representing the Education and Business sectors. Qualified and accredited educational institutions and business organizations can now submit written requests for nomination forms from the Board Secretary of
the GSCWD.

Qualified nominee should be:

1. Filipino citizen;
2. Of voting age;
3. A resident of General Santos City;
4. A member in good standing of the educational institution or business organization that nominated him/her;
5. Must not be a relative within the third (3rd) degree of affinity or consanguinity of the appointing authority (incumbent City Mayor);
6. Must not be covered by the one-year election ban; and
7. Must not be disqualified by other prohibitions expressly specified by the Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines or civil
   service rules, and other pertinent laws
