LGU-GSC Tags GSCWD as Covid-19 Health Protocol Compliant

At General Santos City Water District (GSCWD), the safety of its customers is a top priority. When paying or doing any transactions at the office, COVID-19 health protocols are strictly implemented. In fact, GSCWD was given a fully compliant COVID-19 seal by the Local Government Unit-General Santos City (LGU-GENSAN) last December 1, 2020. Safety and Health protocols were displayed in tarpaulins at the office to ensure proper implementation will be followed by all concessionaires.

The inspection was conducted by the representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), City Economic Management and Cooperative Development Office (CEMCDO), Business Processing and Licensing Office (BPLO), City Treasuries Office (CTO) and members of the Gen. Santos City Police Office (GSCPO). The team inspected compliance of the office to the mandatory wearing of face masks, face shields, disinfection, temperature checking, information gathering for COVID-19 tracing, social distancing measures (floor markings, 50% capacity), and the presence of IEC materials on the premises.

Aside from all COVID-19 health protocols, office disinfection is conducted every week. GSCWD Detailed Safety and Health Protocols for office-based and field employees are also strictly implemented. Personnel/Employees found not following these safety protocols shall be administratively liable, as violation of reasonable office rules and regulation. Further, from time to time, CTTVs were also reviewed / checked to ensure that these health protocols were properly followed. Thus, proper sanction is fully administered to those employees who were guilty in violating health protocols.
